Grace and Millie added choreography and did the main dancing.
Here’s how the Poop Deck Dance (River Road Trance) video shoot came about. Jeremy Laclair, the IT guy at Cambridge Elementary School (CES), told me about the school’s Tech Ambassador program. I told him that I wanted to shoot a video using the historic town curtain (Dunluce Castle in Ireland with sailing ships) in the CES Gym as a backdrop. We agreed that we could involve the kids from the Tech program.

Fin and Rowan set up cameras and determined camera angles and locations.

Silas set up stage lighting and also operated the cameras.

Etta, Lizzy, and Parks (future Tech Ambassadors?) also danced in the video.
In appreciation of their efforts, I presented a $300 donation check to Jeremy Laclair for the CES Tech Ambassador Program.

Poop Deck Dance Videographer, DJ, Music Teacher, and multi instrumentalist Joshua Clinger of River Road Productions.
Poop Deck Dance is one of my most popular songs. It was originally recorded in 2021 at West Street Digital in St. Albans, with Andre Maquera (of 8084 fame). Josh Clinger of River Road Productions in Newport suggested we do a remix to build on its popularity. He picked up on the lyrics “you go into a trance” and knew a Trance mix (a style of Electronic Dance Music) would work well. Josh also agreed to help film the video. The remix drops on 05/15/25 on Spotify, Apple, and elsewhere. The video we filmed will be on YouTube sometime this spring.
